Drill Location and Directions

Our normal drill location is in Building 3282, Naval Air Facility Washington, Andrews Air Force Base, MD.  This building is home to NAF's Training Department and their medical and dental facilities.  We use the two classrooms on the first floor, right side of the building.  You can view Mapquest's map of the area by clicking here.  We do not recommend using Mapquest for directions as it generally requires you to go through a gate not open on weekends.  Detailed directions to base and to our facility are below.  For new personnel, you can ask that someone meet you at the Visitors' Center on base to help you find the building as Andrews can be confusing to navigate.

To Andrews AFB from points north:

1.  Get on I-495/I-95 South towards Richmond/Andrews AFB.
2.  Take exit 9 - Andrews AFB/Allentown Road.
3.  Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp.  Cross over I-495.
4.  Turn right at the traffic light onto Allentown Rd.
5.  Turn left at the next traffic light.  This is the main gate for Andrews AFB.  The Visitor's Center is on the right side just before you reach the guard post.

To Andrews AFB from points south:

1.  Get on I-495/I-95 North towards Baltimore.
2.  Take exit 9A - Andrews AFB/Allentown Rd.
3.  Turn left at the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp.
4.  Turn right at the next traffic light.  This is the main gate for Andrews AFB.  The Visitor's Center is on the right side just before you reach the guard post.

To Building 3282 once you're on Andrews AFB: 

1.  You will be required to go through two guard checkpoints.  After the second checkpoint, take two immediate lefts.  This will place you on F Street.
2.  At the second 4-way stop, turn left onto Brookley Ave.  There will be a shoppette to your front left and a gas station to your front right.
3.  You will pass the Burger King.  At the end of the road, turn right onto Westover Dr.  Turning left will take you off post again.
4.  At the end of Westover Rd., turn left onto Arnold Ave.  Stay on Arnold Ave. as it curves to the right and becomes Perimeter Rd.
5.  You will be going around the airfield with the runway on your right.  At the end of the road is flashing traffic light.  Turn right onto Patrick Rd..
6.  After you pass several hangars on your right, the road will bank to the left.  After it begins to turn left, take the first right turn, putting you back on Perimeter Rd.  There should also be a sign directing you to NAF side.
7.  Building 3282 is about two blocks down the road on the left side.  The building is labeled "Training".
